November has been an exciting month at Moochie’s!!
We have been frantically gearing up to get our newest store open at 2121 South State. Everyone has been asking “When? When?” We had a few delays with the building permit, but finally got going thanks to our great contractor. At this point we expect to open in January 2019, but if we get open sooner, we’ll let you know. Be sure to check our Facebook and Twitter pages for updates. In the meantime we are always looking for qualified applicants if you or someone you know is looking for a GREAT job. Moochie’s offers great pay and benefits and your coworkers are the best! Applicants can stop in at the 800 South store or apply online at Indeed.com, or just send a resume to Jobs@MoochiesMeatballs.com
In the middle of our frantic activity, we got a call from our friends at DINERS, DRIVE-INS AND DIVES at the Food Network, asking if we’d like to be on the show again. Uhhh, let me think about that for a minute…? Of course!! The big man himself, Guy Fieri came in and tasted some new food items we are adding to the menu, Teriyaki Pork Steak with Wasabi Slaw and Philly Cheesesteak eggrolls. He absolutely loved both and we think you will too. What fun to have Guy back in the store! We found out he was shooting a couple more episodes of Triple D and we were one of the few places in Salt Lake City they wanted to come back to. When the cameras were off, Guy told me personally that he tells people all the time to come to Moochie’s when they’re in Salt Lake City. What an incredible compliment!! We took some new photos with him and when the crew came back another day to film the “B roll” (all the close up shots of us cooking), they interviewed some of our friends and customers. Check out some of our pictures on Facebook. What a great adventure but just another way that we feel so lucky and so grateful to all of our loyal customers and our staff who make Moochie’s what it is.
